I've been at this apartment complex now for two years.. and don't have a lot of good to say about it. I've had both toilets break several times, fruit fly and fire ant infestations, a broken garbage disposal, I've replaced several light bulbs that have burned out two weeks after being fixed, A/C problems, the windows in both bedroom are broken, and the vent in the master bathroom is broken. I have called maintenance several times, and they fixed one of the toilets about a year ago.. that is all I have seen or heard of them, no matter how many times I've called. I have never had problems with the staff, except for one lady who I have never, EVER seen in a good mood or felt has been willing to help me without scowling the whole time. The gates for the complex are consistently broken, and even closed on my friends car once while she was going through them! They didn't bounce back at all, and the apartment complex failed to recognize it as their fault, because apparently they're 'not supposed' to bounce back even if there's still something going through the gate..
The complex recently changed their trash policies, from having public dumpsters to designating days to put your trash on the curb (tues/thurs/sat). But until those days, you're expected to keep the trash in the apartment, no matter if there's a little or a lot.. I've tried to keep it outside my door or on the balcony to save the stench, but you get fined $50 a bag if it's outside your apartment!
Parking isn't bad, though occasionally you will have to park a little ways away late at night since there aren't a lot of parking options unless you want to pay 75$ a mo for a garage.
The layouts are okay; spacious but they don't make you feel at home. In my opinion these apartments are cold and uninviting, no matter how nice they look on the outside.

I couldnt agree more about the fruit fly infestations! no matter how often I clean, take out the trash, clean out my fridge/pantry...they are everywhere! its really disgusting, especially since I have a child! I have the bug guy come to my apartment usually twice a month, which to me is ridiculous! And I know exactly who you are taking about when you mention the grumpy lady in the office!!
