I own one of the Ashton Place Condo/Townhomes across the street from the apts. Many years ago it was a lovely apt. complex until it became section 8. We are now surrounded by those that wish to turn our once nice neighborhood into a ghetto. I stand outside at night and watch the drug dealers sell their wares on the playground. Young punks come through our streets bassing their stereo at all hours. of the night waking the dead. Our private driveway may well not have bothered with a sign that says...PRIVATE DRIVEWAY...KEEP OUT'. Shopping carts are left in our yards..trash everywhere. young kids unsupervised at all hours of the night. They are loud and use vulgar language..so much yelling all the time. But how is it they drive such late model cars' Drug money buys alot of things The place is falling apart..the playground is unsafe although an attempt has been made to keep it nice. Within weeks they tore down the new fence..amazing. Don't bother with this place folks if you are really wanting a safe place for your family. This is roof you can take people out of the ghetto..but you cannot take the ghetto out of the people. What do they care' It is our tax dollar that pays for it all. Enough said.

The best thing that happened to this property was Hurricane Ike. Needed to be condemed a long time ago but was finally closed by the hurricane.Now let's hope it gets torn down.
