There are better choices From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/12/2004 Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2004   For the price, they are NOT a good value. My dishwasher doesn't wash things on the top rack. I have shown the maintainence men the problem, but they assure me it is working fine. Uh huh... 2) my garbage disposal has been broken for 9 months. They are "going to get to it"... still waiting. 3) My bathtub/shower leaks into the unit below me. They cannot find the leak, but after 10 minutes of showering water starts pouring through the airvents in the downstairs unit. Management's solution was to "take showers shorter than 10 minutes"... 4) the washroom used to have a lock. For a deposit you could get a key. About a year ago they removed the lock. Now we are having problems with clothes being stolen. 5) The painters have been painting for over a year. They start at 7am and are very rude. Lots of banging. They wanted into my apartment to REPLACE THE DOORS AT 7:15AM!!!!!!!!!! 6) Parking in the front lot sucks. The gate only works half of the time. Only certain units are allowed to park in the front lot, and they are given a special gate code. However it seems everyone in the complex has the gate code to the front lot. Notices are constantly going up reminding people who do not belong in the front lot to not park there. However there is no enforcement. People still park there when they shouldnt. It is even worse when there is a party at the club house...because then there are NO parking spaces. Whenever I have complained to Judy (and Kitten in the past) I was told "park in the back lot when the front lot is full"... I pay good money for my apartment... I should be able to park in my assigned area -- NOT IN THE BACK WHICH IS NO WHERE NEAR MY UNIT. 7) staff is generally unhelpful and unsympathetic. Maintainace crews come into your apartment unannounced and dont even leave a notice that they were there (which, in my lease, it said they were supposed to)...
