The appartment complex itself is beautiful and close to the beach and shopping. The management though is terrible. The ladies running the place dont seem to have a clue as to what's going on. The gym equipment is always broken. "It should be fixed next month" is what they've been saying for the last year. No security officer presence. The 24 hour maintenence is more like 36 hour if they even remember at all. I've paid a lot less for much nicer places. Galveston isn't exactly an island paradise like the rent suggests.
