Good place to live

My wife and I have lived here for about two years now. The price is higher then the apartments in other areas of Galveston, but the area is a lot nicer then many of those other places. You get exactly what you pay for - a nicer then average place for a slightly above average price.
I will agree with others that the workout room is a joke, but I have not seen a sub-$1k/mo apartment workout room that I thought was adiquate, I go to the Field House anyway. I don't know what some of the reviewers are smoking, the pool area is very nice and well kept.
The staff is nice but distant. I personally like it that way, I really don't want to hear about your dog or cat or your visit to teh doctor, I want to pick up a package, drop off the rent check, have you smile at me, say thanks and leave.
We have only had a handful of maint. issues but they have all been addressed within a day or two of letting them know.
Overall I would move in again.
