Poor office staff, Bad Maintainece

I agree with the other posters about the bad quality of the office staff. Judy is the leasing manager and always seems annoyed when people come in -- even if to pick up a package.
Despite what your lease says, management comes into your apartment unaccounced for inspections and never leaves you notice. The only way I knew they were coming in every six months once they accidentally let my cat out (and didnt tell me about it..she was on the porch when I came home) and the second time they came in and painted my interior doors.
They are slow to fix things, if ever. My a/c overflow drain was above my bathtub. It would have a constant flow of water coming out of it if the temp. was set below 78. Maint. came out and looked at it, but never did anything. For the rest of the time I lived there the problem persisted.
The Ice Maker in my freezer stopped working, and I put in a repair request. Maint. came out and took out the ice maker and didnt put one back in. When I asked about it, they said they had a new one "on order"......I never did get a new ice maker put in my freezer.
Parking is ok except in the front lot. Front lot space is limited and therefore only assigned units can park there and there is no visitor parking. However, no one pays attention to this. Everyone and their brother's friend parks there at night, and if you come home after 9pm, you won't be able to find parking. I spoke to Judy about it several times and she told me to park in the back lot. The back lot is no where near my unit. The parking problem in the front lot would be taken care of if A) they enforced residents-only parking rule and actually towed people who didnt belong and b) if they would occasionally put up reminders about who can park in the front lot.
The front lot gate is not secure. there is a section you can walk through.....and people do walk through it at night. All sorts of people: people just "wandering" around at night looking into cars. People coming from the hotels to use the washroom. People coming from other apartments to use the pool and washroom. Not very safe.
I would not recommend this apartment complet to anyone. Its slightly overpriced, and although the grounds are ok, the office staff and maint. people are of poor quality and therefore negate the few positives that would make someone want to pay "a little bit more".....
I really wish that the companies that own these complexes would read these comments. Complaints we make to office staff are no doubtly "filtered" and the corp. owner never hears about it.
