I am a UTMB nurse. I had very little time in choosing a place for temporary lodging last summer--- a matter of weeks. Please do NOT rent here. The exterior may look nice but it is nothing but a sham. All they will do is take your money and not be your advocate. They will really put the screws to you when you plan to move out. It is nothing more than a money making scam. Forget trying to get consumer protection thru the TAA or the GCAA---they work only for the owners. It is a paid organization who committees are comprised of personnel and owners from the larger management companies of these rental units.
The people whom they employee in the office of this complex (God forgive me) are as disposible as toilet paper. They are worthless.
Best of luck to anyone looking for rental housing--- I advise you to go online and copy a draft of a rental agreement and rent a HOUSE on the island ----Do Not deal with these rental companies that own and operate this apartment complex (Sheng -Raamco). Consider yourself forewarned.
