I have lived at the Broadwater for over 7 years now and have absolutely loved the place. The management personnel are very professional, friendly, and eager to help. The maintenance staff are very attentive and quick to address any concerns or issues. They also make courtesy calls to check if you are experiencing any problems. The residence itself is well groomed and has great curb appeal. The residents are also quite professional and generally are very quiet. I always highly recommend this property to all who are moving to the island, as it is one of the few rental properties left on the island that is still very upscale and offers a comfortable, safe, and most inviting living space.

Sounds like a management post or this person previously lived in public housing, because this is the exact opposite of my bad experience at the Broadwater.

Well you two are both wrong. I am not affiliated with the management, but was actually a hospital employee that lived at the apartment complex since 2002. If you check the date, my original comment was made pre-Hurricane Ike-- During these years, I have seen the dynamics of the management change--mostly for the better. It is not perfect, nor should anyone expect it to be. I've also found that if you are civil to the management and staff and have a bit of class about you, you are actually able to get things accomplished. (Maybe try that next time.) If you expect concierge service, grounds, and maintenance, trust me, you are not being charged enough rent for that. (Have you taken a look at what these 'luxury' apartments are charging these days?) Now, I will admit that things have not been quite up to par since Hurricane Ike, but only so much can be expected after the devastation that the whole island has incurred. Rather than posting something bad, just move out. Good luck finding another place on the island at a reasonable/comparable price that has even tolerable amenities. (Perhaps find that public housing sector that you thought that I had previously lived in.)
