Best place to stay - before and after Hurricane IKE

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
I am very glad to put in my review that I stayed at Broadwater from 2007. I extended my lease in 2008 because of the fact that it was the best when it came to maintenance requests, but had to leave, thank to Hurricane IKE related employment effects. Not to forget that it is conveniently located to everything that would be needed by a family. Judy is one of the BEST managers that I have had experiences with. She is always ready to help. I would like to specially thank her because post-IKE, she was a motivating force in seeing the debris cleared and the place made more habitable reducing the depression among the residents significantly. Village By The Sea was still having Debris all over the place when Broadwater had absolutley none within its complex. The immediate next day to IKE, my apartment's damages were attended to by Felipe, who is not only diligent, but very innovative. I had to move for employment reasons, but without Judy and Karen, the move would have been really rough and traumatic. They made it so good, that I know that I will look for accomodations there if I need an apartment to stay in Galveston. Last but not the least, they happen to be still the most reasonably priced complex, when all others have hiked the prices considerably after Hurricane Ike. There were a lot of blogs that complained about Broadwater not responding post IKE regarding the apartments. In my observation, there were busy fixing our lives by attending to the living space that we lived in in addition to their own lives, in other words, this is an apartment that believes in delivering results rather than promises..... Good Job, Judy. Good Job, Karen. Keep it up
