Decent, but office staff needs to get their act together

I've been there for 2 years, and I'm leaving Glaveston in a few weeks. I'd say the complex and maintinence are a good deal, overall. My maintenance requests are answered quickly, but thatâs only if I call the after hours âemergencyâ number.
If you want something done, done right or done at all, my advice is to bypass the office staff completely. When I first moved in, I had to submit 4 requests (and they were in writing and left in the overnight box as well as requested over the phone) to get my dishwasher fixed. It wasnât until I called the emergency number that the guys came out immediately and got it fixed in under an hour.
In August of 2005, I left a phone message (they never answer over there) for the then manager to call me. I had had a stalker at work and had to change my home phone number. I was called again last summer and told that they didnât even have the number on record.
Now that Iâm on a month to month lease, theyâre trying to strong arm me into giving them 2 months worth of rent. I got the same tired excuse of âwe tried to call you, but we didnât have your phone number.â I gave it to them for the third time, but like every communication with them, phone in person or written, it will get conveniently lost.
If youâre ready to deal with an ongoing hassle, move here. If you want responsive staff, go elsewhere.
