I have lived at Carelton Courtyard for over a year now and have never had any major problems, only minor ones. Maintenance comes very quick, usually the same day, unless of course you call them at night. They are very helpful and courteous. The office staff are nice and extremely helpful too. Never had a problem there. The complex is usually pretty quiet except if there are kids in the pool. Never had a problem with neighbors or crime. Drive-in and walk-in gates only open to residents who have a gate card. Which is very nice in my opinion. Also have security cameras all around, monitoring commons areas like the laundry, pool, and parking. The only criticism I do have is that they are raising the monthly rents on all units, which sucks because I wanted to transfer to a bigger one. After calling around a dozen other places, seems like every complex in Galveston has raised rents after hurricane Ike.
