Good place to live if you want to be close to the hospital

I lived at Chateau Lafitte for 4 years while in medical school. In general the people are friendly, the maintenance people fix things quickly and do a good job. I lived in an apartment in the inner courtyard so it was quiet (can't speak for those with windows to the street.) The apartments are older, but in good condition.
The manager lives on the premises and though there was turnover while I was there, all of them were fairly responsive and friendly. I especially liked the manager who was there when I left, Velma. She is very good.
Would recommend this to a student or resident living on a budget as all utilities are paid and you can walk to the hospital.
