I will be moving to the Club of the Isle in July, so I don't actually live there. However, from what I saw of the complex, it is THE nicest complex I have ever seen in any of the 10 states I have lived, period. The interior of the apartment is nothing short of gorgeous; very modern and well constructed. There is a parking garage under all the buildings and an elevator that takes you from your car to your floor. The halls a very WIDE. It will be a breeze moving anything in to my apartment. I have a feeling the same guy posted the two negative reviews because the mention the same problems. However, he must be an idiot because I see no flaws in this complex at all. Don't bother looking anywhere else, just move here. We spent a whole day wasting time looking at other complexes. Save your time.

I assure you it will only take a short while before you realize how things actually are versus the preception you have now. The management (starting at the top with the scam-artist owners Al & Rae)you will find them to be rude, incompetent and by the way, the apartments are very poorly constructed. You will see, I assure you. You will also see more turnover in regards to the employees than you could ever imagaine.

Ok, I would like to know what the problems are with this complex that the rest of the apartment complexes don't have in Galveston. Also, I saw the map of the area and I don't see Section 8 housing on there (it is the most recent map of Galveston with the Club on it). Section 8 housing is 1/2 mile down the roads so maybe they are walking to your location. Maintence sucks here and it does everywhere else also. By the way, how can your counter top fall in? Secondly, not that I am attacking you but simply seeking your input, I find it odd that there are two posts right after the other. Do you think that people that live there check this post daily? It kind of wrecks the credibility of the post if you understand my point of view. Please reply and let me know what else sucks. Thanks!

I have to agree with the problems that several users have expierianced. All I hear are excusses from people who like the apartments, and i have to ask, why are you so strongly defending the apt. I agree that the credibility of this site is not very good, however, I can vouch for poor quality, poor service, overpriced and disappointing. The apt. has so much potential to be great, but saying statements like "I would like to know what the problems are with this complex that the rest of the apartment complexes don't have in Galveston" is a sell out, and i would think that if it were truly a great place to live, it would not be necessary to lower its standards to the rest of galveston. To say that and then to have a selling point of "best place on the island," I assure you, that is false advertisiment. I can not recommend it to anyone, because I don't want anyone to have to go through the same dissapointments.

The section 8 housing is across the street named Heron's Walk. The maintenance man over there is a DEA officer, they need him.
