We have lived here 6 months and have not been impressed. They used very poor quality materials, have cheap appliances, its noisey between floors and the elevators are noisey, however It is ussually quite outside exept for our upstairs neighbors, i think the have a wrestling ring up there. We believe it is highly overpriced but the whole island is overpriced. Our electric bills are the highest we've ever had for an apartment. Several things have needed to be fixed and haven't been fixed yet. There was a whole in our wall, and some of the doors won't latch. The pool is really shallow and ther is no sidewalk access to the main office from the b and c buildings, only a grassless trail left by all of us who need to get over there. We do like bright night lighting, it does feel safe, and for the most part, the other residents are nice folks. The staff is friendly but unknowledgable, you have to ask over and over again and they ussually don't have a straight answer or tell you different things each time. The staff keeps changing often also so you don't know who is actually working there. The management makes it seem like its a priveledge to live here which I think otherwise. The pathetic overpriced covered parking (under the buildings) is ok because at least your car is in the shade, but the sewage pipes leak often and the smell is pretty bad. Other buildings have a trash can on the bottom floor for their concienance but they took ours away because people dumped there garbage bags in it, idiots. Trust me it looks great at first glance but looks can be decieving, we initially liked the safe feel and storage space of the 2 bedroom but have found that too many other negative factors outweighth our likes. It is still better than 80% of what the island has to offer though. The lesser of 2 evils is what we feel like. We are stuck in the lease and can't wait to leave. As far as this site goes, I don't trust any of the good reviews, they sound shady. There is a low rent complex across the street that looks awful, but we haven't had any issues with it so far. The gym does have suitable equipment, and the massage thereapist that comes often is very nice. I have to agree with the problems that several users have expierianced. I can vouch for poor quality, poor service, overpriced and disappointing. Over all the whole island is pretty dissapointing and it sucks not having more affordable options.
