IF I would have known what this complex was before moving in, I would have stayed away! I found out later that all they did was slap some paint on the walls (inside and out), update the appliances, and caulk over the mold. NASTY NASTY NASTY PLACE...

I lived at IB for several years- The apt. showed well, but once you get in, the problems begin. My closet bar broke several times and it took weeks to get anyone to fix it. My bathroom ceiling filled up with filthy water and leaked for weeks before being repaired. Mold was rampant, and I always had flare-ups with Asthma. My upstairs neighbors were illegal and LOUD, and the husband was abusing his wife. Plus their kid didn't know how to walk- he was always running and complaining to management didn't work.

Poor management was another story- from the time I moved in until I left there were probably new managers 5-6 times. The reason maint. sucked initially was because the first manager was having a relationship with the maint. supervisor and nothing ever got done...

Am I bitter. YEP, and I haven't described it all. They were also infested with roaches (big ones). I paid 750 a month for 36 months and lived in horrid conditions. Learn from my bad exp. and find some place else. Galveston doesn't have much to offer in terms of high class apt dwellings and you should cross this one off your list.

By the way- I had to report them to their management company which is SUNCHASE in HOUSTON. That was the only was I could force them to comply with some of my requests. It worked!
