Is four bullet holes enough'

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
In the year that I lived there, the "security" gates stood open more often than not. Additionally, when I asked the management about them, they told me that they were "limited access" gates rather than security gates. Amazingly enough, after a period of several months where the gates had been standing open, presumably because they were waiting for repair parts to arrive, a gentleman of the complex was shot four times with a handgun. Overnight the gates were magically fixed and in operation the next morning. If this wasn't bad enough, there were three drug busts within the complex, and twice people were arrested for fighting and pushing individuals through windows. Parking is on a first-come-first-serve basis, and can be quite cramped. Not only did I have unknown individual try to park something in the passenger side of my vehicle, but there were also 7-8 vehicles broken into. Finally, after being hit and broken into, my vehicle was also vandalized. As for the property, it looks great on the outside, but the maintenance personnel failed to complete workorders submitted for my apartment, one in particular for the electricity. The laundry room was located very close to my apartment, but it was $1.00 each for wash and dry. However, these were typically very dirty, and sometimes weren't working. I would strongly recommend that any prospective renters look beyond the outside whitewash and ask some pointed questions prior to choosing this location. Finally, despite leaving my apartment in a much cleaner condition than when I received it (photos to prove), I only received $70 of my deposit back with no explanation of why.
