I have lived in two diferent apartments in the year that i have lived here. One was in the back side and the other on the first canal in the front. Anything you would never want to be wrong with your place is wrong in the back. roaches, apartments falling apart. someone catching my front door on fire. I had met the guy who did it, it could have been a personall problem but that is the kind of people they rent to. not to mention an all out ghetto-ganster vibe coming from the back of that place.
in the front it is 10 times more peacefull but that is it, the apartment still sucks, maintenance sucks, which is a result of bad management. i dont even call maitenance any more thats how bad it is. the management in a nut shell right here-
"get over it". thats how they roll at island bay.

im not ashamed to post my name why are you let me tell you a thing or two maitenance can only do what management will allow my husband has literally killed himself at this property in the last 9 months and it is jurks like you that make me sick one person 459 units you do the math he is just one man doing everything to keep things going and tenants like you should not live in apartments you need to buy a home and deal with ---- yourself i agree things are not the best here but one maitenance man can only do so much i can tell you he makes himself sick with worry if he cant take care of a problem in a timely manner so before you go pointing fingers or blaming people you should get your facts first

I agree with you at leasst if your going to pay all this money every month then at least fix the place up but I lived there for abotu 2 1/2 years and it started to turn in to the projects so we had to leave because when I was there they had 3 maintinence men but nothing still got fixed but the they are a Resort please come on. So I agree with you.
