The recent issues pertaining to Island Bay Resort disappoint me greatly.
1) The lack of maintenance is absolutely unacceptable. Sometimes people go for months before a single maintenance issue is addressed.
2) Office personnel. I am shocked that when there was a maintence man, he was arrested for aggravated robbery with the boyfriend of the Assistant Manager. And I ask, Why is the Assistant still allowed to work there'
3) Two bodies were discovered in the trunk of a car and had apparently been there for weeks!
4) Numerous criminal activities are taking place on the property and nothing is being done about it.
5)The exterior building lights have been out for MONTHS and have yet to be replaced. (That is a huge liability)
5) The access gates might as well be torn down since they haven't worked in about 8 months
6)My lease is up at the end of March and I haven't received any kind of renewal notice, which to me shows lack of appreciation of current good paying residents (I can assure you I WILL NOT be renewing).
7) My car was towed b/c of an expired inspection sticker. I do not think the priority should be towing the residents cars who might come into some hard times and make it worse for them. My car is completely operable and was not illegally parked. Now I have to figure out a way to come up with $215.80 (which I do not have).
8) It seems to me that the slow paying, criminally minded residents are being all but catered to and us good residents are being punished b/c the management cannot contain them.
Any response pertaining to these matters would be greatly appreciated.

Don't forget about the tenant who posted about the bodies... I didn't even know about it until my boyfriend found the post on our door. Oh yeah, and it stated that management didn't inform any of us because it was unclear about whether or not the crime was committed on the property, so they didn't feel that it was their responsibility to inform their tenants.
