Don't Live Here

Timely maintenance response is still extemely poor. The gates still are not fixed, doubtful they ever will at this point. The complex needs to be painted, but the office is very pretty ( the lure to get you in ). The residents were NEVER informed by the management of the dead bodies found in the trunk of the car, we learned about on the television and newspaper, so resident safety is NOT a priority here ..... Can't wait until I can move from here .......

Good... don't move to the Seasons, though... well not the older side. I'm going to gladly pay the extra 100 bucks to live on the newer side of that apartment complex... hopefully, by december, our building won't crash down.

I am in utter shock at this news!! But then again this complex is run and managed wrong on so many levels it's really not funny! I lived there from Aug 2005 until October 2006. Yes, they are a very SHADY property mgmt. company, and although I was a good tenant, when I moved out the then manager, Mandy, (who was NEVER available) stated I OWED THEM $1100.00 for carpet (which FEMA paid them for already) & 300.00 for leaving a couch & love seat because although I went to the office many times and requested them to spray for cockroaches (YUK!), they NEVER came to my apartment, and I wasn't taking them with me when I left Galveston. Forget the crummy maintenance, lying people supposedly in the office as lease agents, assistant managers (Yes Christina, Sarah & Gabriel - sorry I dented your knife while you were stabbing me in the back but being oh so nice to my face!), the ALWAYS broken gates, the polluted water and poor drainage, no matter what you do they will bad mouth you when you go to rent an apartment and/or report you to the credit bureau. And they lie unbeleivable!!! It is AMAZING!! You can go online and find the property management company. I can't think of the name off hand but they are out of Friendswood, at least in 2006 when I contacted them. They cost me $150.00 in applications fees because of this. I nearly could not rent anywhere until the residence that I am at now had the good sense to go to apartmentratings.com and check them out. Thank goodness I had a FEMA Rep walk through my apartment(after hurricane Rita) & had a FEMA assigned number because I have had to contact the Federal Government on them. I have no problem filing federal charges on them. Actually, they did it to themselves. Whether you stay there or break your lease they are going to keep your deposit AND bad mouth you so you might as well find a rental home (with a landlord that has a brain and knows of this complex)instead of an apt. No wonder they're rated at 19% at apartmentratings.com. I sincerely feel for you, and I have no problem signing my real name as I speak the truth and can document it! By the way, document EVERYTHING with photos and when you need a repair send it by CERTIFIED MAIL RETURN RECEPIT REQUESTED so they have to sign for it.
Wishing you success in getting out,
Sharon Weinstein #2012 (my old apt., second canal)
