I agree with most of the other reviews. We lived in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath with a sunroom. There was lots of room and in good condition, except that the appliances were very old (our microwave wasn't even digital!). We lived right by the front "gates", which were not secure at all, and about every other night we heard someone break off the boards that were called gates. We also lived by the pool, so we did have some occasional noise late at night. The dog poop is a problem--we had dogs but we walked them across the street in an open field. The geese and ducks from the lake also poop all over the sidewalks. They do have some strange people working in maintenance, but they are nice and usually get things done fast, except one time when our wall/ceiling leaked during a rain shower, and all they did was come in and spray some primer over it and never came back and painted it. On New Year's Eve some of the maintenance staff took it upon themselves to hold a "party" (no one came) at the pool which was not sanctioned by management. The biggest problem I had is that they are RUTHLESS about the contract, as another reviewer mentioned. NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, if you move out before your lease is up, you have to continue paying the lease unless they rerent the apartment, and THEN you have to pay OUTRAGEOUS fees. Sign the SHORTEST lease possible, because you never know what could happen. The good thing about the apartments are that they are in a very secluded area of Galveston, so there's not a lot of street noise. g-hKOS7s4Nq5n3hEIpHd

I understand that its a hassle about paying extra fees when you move out ut if you read your lease agreement YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for paying those fees! You signed the contract so you should have known that before you moved in!
