My boyfriend and I moved to the island a little over a year ago and when we looked at St Thomas it was awful! The foundation was crap, and don't even get me started on the interiors! We ended up leasing downtown, but leased at Newport campeche to move in July 1--you should see the difference a year makes! The interiors are all brand new--appliances, countertops, cabinets, EVERYTHING! Plus, the management was so nice and the girls in the office were great! We decided to finally lease here because they're one of the only properties on the island with washer and dryer connections, not to mention they renovated everything. Plus the area is safer because the section 8 people are gone (that complex is now condos). I would recommend this apartment ot anyone, in spite of the bitter people that say otherwise!

The newness of the apartments is great, but the section 8 comment was uncalled for. I met a lot of good people who lived over there, and never had problems with anyone else....gah some people.
