I enjoy living here. From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 9/2/2005 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2005   I have lived here over a year and have enjoyed it. The apartment layout is cool with the 2 bed/1.5 bath. The second bedroom is small, but has a cool loft lookout onto the kitchen and living area. Great for a kids room. The vanity area of the bathrooms are very well lit. The ceilings are considerably higher than most other apartments which gives the feeling of more space. You can't beat the view. All of the apartments look out onto the well landscaped courtyard and all have an ocean view. I moved in during the renovation and have seen a dramatic change to the grounds. They have done a really great job, with all new appliances. The office staff have always been very nice and responsive. Same for the maintanence guys. To address the other complaints: you hear your neighbors. I am used to it as that is the case with most other apartments. It doesn't keep me awake at night/or day. Some people have a problem with Aimco, not sure why, this is my first Aimco apt. These apartments and the staff are nice and uniquely Galveston. AND, I did have some laundry stolen, I had forgotten about and left overnight. The laundry facilities are shared among the tenants and are free. At first I wasn't thrilled about not having my own washer and dryer, as connections aren't available, but I have gotten used to it and is no big deal now. I am just more responsible about getting my stuff out as soon as it's done. Overall I love them: the elevators are a bonus, as most three level apartments don't have elevators. The layout is unique, and the view is wonderful.
