The Good & The Bad

I moved into The Pointe in October of 2005. At that time Barbie Tucker was the manager and Richard and Delmico were the maintanence men. My apartment was clean and rodent free. Over the course of time as things needed repair I would place a call to Barbie and within the day Richard or Delmico were there to address the problem. When my neighbor under me moved I noticed a few rodents; I called Barbie and was told that pest control would be there the next Tuesday(they only come twice a month). Pest control came the rodents left. It took some getting use to the whole laundryroom thing seeing as though I had a washer/dryer in my old home, but I manage. Basically all was lovely at The Pointe and I was enjoying my home. Electricity was included in the rent and water was only around $12.00 a month.

THAT WAS THEN!!!

It's now 2007 and Barbie, Richard, and Delmico are gone and so is the prompt service. Now when things need repair it takes months and numerous phone calls & visits to the front office before they're done. You can never get anyone on the phone in the office. The maintanence man always has an excuse why he can't fix something. Basically things are not running as smoothly at The Pointe as they were in the past. I don't know if it's the new management or the new maintanence team(or lack of I should say), but all I know is that as soon as my lease is up I am out of here.

But, this is only my opinion. Call the office and if you can get anything other than that stupid recording, set up a tour; walk the grounds without the management team and ask some of the other tenants what they think. Hey, electricity is still free! My waterbill has gone up to around $30 a month because my toilet has been leaking for about two months and I'm tired of calling the office to complain about it, but that's just me.

Hope I've been helpful to you, GOOD LUCK!!! qmzu4EHcaGAPVCPw2Fai
