LOVED Res at West Beach From: lookingforwardtoayard Date posted: 4/19/2006 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2006 2 responses   We recently moved out of Residence at West Beach due to relocating cities. We really, really miss it there. It has such a community atmosphere. Like any apartment complex it has minor problems i.e. noisiness/thin walls, inconsiderate neighbors can move in. It truelly was a great experience overall though! We have pets, and it is a very pet friendly environment. Our pets were able to run around (under control) and play with neighbors' pets. Our neighbors were very, very friendly and looked out for eachother. Every negative experience we had was taken care of promptly by the management. As far as security deposit, I can't comment on that. I have not received mine yet, but I am sure I will. Obviously it is an apartment and the staff is human, so mistakes are made, people are loud sometimes, and you do not have a driveway to park right beside your door. I loved it and miss it a lot. We were able to open all of our windows during 9-10 months out of the year, and the cool ocean breeze would blow through the entire apartment. The lagoon area/bird refuge is beautiful and peaceful. The pool area is gorgeous and "beachy". Maintainence is always prompt and friendly. The workout facility is great with machines and free weights. The Lobby/Club house is great for events that you may have. It is decorated festively, always clean, and has a great view of the pool area. Remember though as with anything, communication is key. If you don't tell them about something, they can't possibly fix it. : )
