The ratings listed on this site are not quite updated, nor accurate. First off, the complex is now known as "Newport at West Beach". For the price, it's really not that great.

Extremely noisy and the floors are uneven in many of the apartments. Do not get below someone, aka 1st or 2nd floor, because it's going to be so loud. My shelves rattle when i walk around the apartment and kitchen definitely slopes.

BEWARE: You cannot get cable provided to you by a "normal" provider because apparently they will not "run" it. For TV you either need a satellite, which will only work if you are on the south side of one of the buildings OR you can pay $50 a month for the apartment complex cable consisting of 60 channels that you cannot choose. <--- it's lacking to say the least! This also means that you have SLOW DSL internet! TOTALLY HORRIBLE!

Campache Cove is owned by these same people and sounds like a better bet. Honestly, DO NOT USE websites to find your apartment, spend the time on the island to look around there are A TON of complexes NOT listed online.

If you are going for a 1 bedroom you will not get a washer/dryer or a hook-up! It's horrible dragging laundry from the laundry room! Ahhhhh!!!!

The maintenance men used to clean the railings. They cleaned them before I moved in. There are bird droppings everywhere. The place has not been washed down for over a year now! There is only one maintenance man now since I guess they fired the others.
