The college apartments have a local bar in the area. There is a lot of beer cans lying around in the yard. The apartments have thin walls and students play loud music all hours of the night.
Fuel tanks nearby and sulphur plant to cause eye and other health complications. Health issues of fumes that should be immediately checked by a doctor include symptoms of weakness, staggering, tremors, convulsions, tight chest, rapid shallow breathing, blurred vision, skin pale, small red dots on skin, nausea and/or volmiting, loss of appetite, irregular heartbeat, dizziness, drowsiness, nervousness, unconsciousness, euphoria, headache, fatigue, malaise (vague bodily discomfort), abnormal bleeding, excessive bruising, weakness, reduced exercise tolerance, weight loss, bone or joint pain, infection and fever, abdominal pain or fullness, and enlarged spleen, lymph nodes, pituitory and hormonal changes (weight gain), central nervous system changes and enlarged liver.
Some people are more tolerant to chemicals than others. If you are experiencing any of the above symptoms, get a medical review to check for any blood abnormalities.

UTMB hospital I feel has many problems:
File report if you have a complaint against UTMB....read your emergency paper that you sign and keep for your records....it is the
Texas Board of Medical Examiners.
Attention: Investigations

Keep all copies of documents of your visits to show who you were seen by while in their care.
Look into the medical care before getting ready to settle here. Get a second opinion regarding your medical condition at all possible. Ask others how they feel about the local hospital. It is your right to be treated right in that hospital. Also read your student insurance plan to ensure it covers all treatment you will be needing or may need in the future in the event of a car accident etc... With student insurance it requires filling out a lot of forms for each visit to your doctor. If you visit frequently, this can take up a lot of your time.
