i HAVE LIVED AT THE PAVILLION (ADVENIR) FOR 4 YEARS. I HAVE HAD MY DOOR KICKED IN, CAR BROKEN INTO TWICE. LIED TO BY MANAGEMENT ------- --------, SHE HAS LOST MY RENT CHECK ON 3 OCCASSIONS AND THEN ACTED LIKE IT WAS MY FAULT. aLSO WHEN THE PAVILLION BECAME ADVENIR THE MANAGEMENT RAISED THE LATE CHARGES FROM 50 TO 75 DOLLARS. HOWEVER, MOST PEOPLE WHO ALREADY LIVED THEIR BEFORE THE BUYOUT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN CHARGED 75 DOLLARS BUT THEY WERE. THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN CHARGED 75 UNTIL THEY SIGNED A NEW LEASE 2 THAT FACT. I WAS OVER CHARGED NUMEROUS TIME. A LEASE IS A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT AND CAN NOT BE CHANGED FOR ANY REASON. i KNOW IM NOT THE ONLY ONE THIS HAS HAPPENED TO. i HAVE ALSO HAD CREDITS ON MY ACCOUNT THAT HAVE NOT BEEN PUT TOWARDS MY RENT. I WOULDNT BE SURPRISED IF THERE ARE MORE SHADY PRACTICES GOING ON WITH THE RENT AND OTHER FUNDS. AFTER MY CAR WAS BROKEN INTO IASKED ABOUT THE ENTRANCE GATES NEVER BEING CLOSED. I WAS TOLD THEY WERE WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO COME FIX THEM, MEANWHILE 2 YEARS LATER THEY HAVE NEVER ONCE BEEN SHUT. NOW I ASK YOU, IF THEY ARE GETTING ALL THIS MONEY AFTER RAISING RENT AND UPPING LATE FEES, ADDING FITNESS PROGRAMS, BUYING A BIG SCREEN TO SHOW FOOTBALL GAMES IN THE OFFICE, THROWING POOL PARTIES WITH DJ'S WHY CANT THEY FIX THE ONE THING THAT MIGHT DETER A CRIMINAL FROM HARMING A RESIDENT OR STEALING THERE PROPERTY. INSTEAD USING THE EXTRA MONEY FOR PARTIES AND OTHER FRIVOLOUS SPENDING. WHY DONT THEY INVEST IN SOMETHING LIKE SECURITY GAURDS OR SOMETHING TO THAT EFFECT, BECAUSE THE COUPLE OF DRIVE-BY'S BY ANNETE --------'S HUSBAND OFFICER --------(ONE OF THE LAISON OFFICERS) FOR ADVENIR) ISNT CUTTING IT.

since you know this has happen to others, there is somthing that you can do. (1)go to the courts find out the price of filing a small claim against the apartment,and the owner of your complex. (2)talk to other residents,get them involve.(3)split the cost,you don;t need a lawyer you represent yourself.(4)then recover your lost, {meaning all residents}.
