Do Not Rent Here!!!!

This has been the worst place my husband and I have ever lived, and we could not wait for our lease to be up! We have both lived in several apartments, and we've never had the problem we have had here, even when I was in college and lived in a condemned ghetto apartment! All of the other reviews are correct, roaches, sky high utility bills, major repairs going undone for months, incompetent office staff, etc.
We had been here only a few months when our upstairs bathroom began leaking downstairs into our hall closet. For 8 MONTHS we got the run around before it was fixed, for 6 of those months we had a huge (approx 1' x 3') hole in our downstairs bathroom to access under the upstairs tub. They literally ripped a hole in our ceiling, and didn't return for 6 MONTHS. So every morning I had insulation, dirt, and roaches fall on me as I bathed in our only working shower. And while "fixing" the leak, the repair men punched a hole through the wall of our living room, which has never been fixed.
We have a leak in the roof of our office that they have been our to fix at least 4 times, but still have not. Ruined that computer! The foundation is aparently cracked, and in a heavy rain last spring our entire living room flooded, forcing us to move our entire entertainment center into the kitchen. We were told it was no big deal, it shouldn't rain "that hard" again, and they simply cleaned the carpet. Now everytime it rains, I'm afraid to leave the house. We have to set out a bucket in the office and watch the floor in the living room, so we can move the elctronics if necessary.
One of the repairmen who was repeatedly in our home "working" on the leak, was eventually fired. Before that though, he had shown up at our place drunk, sometimes with a beer in hand, and one day badly bruised and beaten. He told us he and his fellow worker (who we found out was not employed by the complex, but was a drinking buddy who was helping with the work and had a key to our apt!) had gotten into a bar fight and were arrested. When he was fired he never turned in our apt. key, and the complex would not rekey our apt.
When we tripped a breaker and our power went out, we found out that our unit is apprently paying for several outdoor sidewalk and parking lot lights, that we cannot control. No wonder our elctric bills ar so high!
We were told we would get a $200 credit on our rent for all of the hassle, but we never did. The staff is never there when they say they will be and frankly aren't that helpful when they are there.
I know this is long, but it has been one thing after another, and I pray no one else gets suckered into this awful place!
