I'm currently living at Belmont for going on a couple of months now. I think these are pretty nice apartments. Other than the flushing sound that I hear when my a/c is on, the apartments themselves are fairly quiet. The maintenance people handle issues within 1-2 days and the staff is friendly and helpful. My only complaint is some of the disobedient tenants that can't seem to follow clearly stated rules about when the trash should go out. When they don't put it out during stated times, it sits and even gets destroyed by the loose pets roaming around. But the staff must hate the eyesore and get it cleaned up pretty quickly. I don't wish bad on anyone, but people that can't follow simple rules should be warned a certain number of times and then dealt with accordingly. I feel like I'm paying a little extra (over some other apartments) for a nicer environment so that's what I'm expecting. But overall, I'm happy at Belmont and would recommend them to anyone looking for something in the Garland area. Unless other complexes are running specials, they seem to have the most reasonable rates. Things I look for in an apartment are minimal noise, helpful staff and maintenance, and a maintained interior and exterior complex. I've found all these things at Belmont. Neighbors come and go so I don't focus on them much unless they are out of control and then either them or myself will have to move.
