Late one evening, my family and i arrived home. My husband inserted the key into the door and the door opened right up without him turning the key or door knob... When we got inside there was an eviction notice taped to the back of the door for non payment of rent, even though we did pay rent in full. Come to find out, they posted my money to another account and left my door unlocked and open. Very unsafe, anything could have happened. When i called the very next day, i was told that leaving the door opened NEVER happens but she would look into finding out where my money went.. Jennifer never apologized. After seeking counsel, I typed a letter to the regional office and faxed it to them asking to be released from my lease agreement without penalty. I recieved a call from the property manager the very next day, who apologized and said that when she recieved the letter from the regional office, that was the first time she'd heard about the situation. Jennifer never even bothered to tell her... The manager then informed me that to get out of my lease i would have to pay 2 months in advance and give 60 day notice.... RIDICULOUS!!! I refused to pay over $1200 because i no longer feel safe living there due to THIER NEGLIGENCE!!!
