Centerville Pointe is a beautiful community. It is one of the newest in Garland, TX. I have lived here for 10 months. The first 8 months were wonderful. Maintenance is prompt and courteous. However, for some reason the criteria for "move in eligibility" has declined apparently. What was once a very quiet, serene community is now slowly becoming "just another community". After 5 when the office closes, it is nothing less than a scene from a typical project. The streets are crowded with unsupervised kids that run wild. There is evidence of drug activity. There is supposedly a night courtesy officer. One can not tell from all that occurs after office hours. As I said before, Centerville Pointe is a beautiful community. I truly feel that the office staff and management need to seriously give thought to what can be done to get quality, law abiding tenants back into the complex. The tenants that are breaking the law by selling drugs or are creating disturbances did not begin this activity since moving into the community. This behavior had to have been pre existing. THOROUGH BACKGROUND CHECKS COME TO MY MIND!! I realize that every community wants 100% occupancy but it should not cause you to cut corners when selecting your tenants. F.Y.I. NOTICE HOW MANY MOVE OUTS YOU HAVE LATELY...take the time to carefully select tenants. Your community and it's reputation not to mention the condition of your property depends on it.
