When I first moved in back in 2002 everything was great and I really enjoyed living here. I had great neighbors. However, in the last year things have just gone downhill. Residents let their dogs run loose thoughout the complex. This can be very scary with large dogs. You have to watch your step in the grassy areas around the pool and parking lot because it is the doggy toilet area. Pet owners do not use "pooper scoopers" or plastic baggies to dispose of dog poop properly. I have had the "pleasure" of stepping in a fresh pile in my new shoes. Recently, I noticed dog poop in the parking lot by the stairs that go up to my building. Disgusting!! Apartment staff know about the situation, but do not do anything about it.

We have had numerous problems with broken water pipes. There is a continuous water leak that runs down the parking lot to the creek. In the past when maintenance has worked on the pipes, there has been no notification that water will be turned off. You find out when you try to wash your hands or take a shower and there is either no water or low water pressure.

The building is sinking. I have doors that will not shut all the way and large cracks coming down from the ceiling to the door jam.

As I understand, the George Bush Tollway will be coming soon and these apartments will be torn down. Apartment Management has not said anything official to residents. I found out through an article in the newspaper that said 416 apartment units would be torn down to make way for the tollway.

If I was looking in this area for an apartment today, I would not rent here as you are just going to have to move again soon and it is too close to I-30. I hear traffic noise constently, especially 18-wheeler trucks.
