First off, there is an ant problem, but that can happen anywhere. We just try to be careful not to leave food out and have killed each one we've seen, which hasn't been all THAT many. I must also say that the tile jobs and caulking jobs aren't all that great. They didn't spend much time making it look nice. We have a few minor things that still haven't been fixed, but they are all cosmetic stuff. The major things have been fixed, and were fixed promptly enough. Rent is fair priced, and I've seen far worse apartments. I've also seen better, but Lakeway works with me and my roomates budget. It's pretty quiet at night, and we get home fairly late from work every night but feel safe. We don't see anyone roaming the lot or anything. Parking is great, always get one close to our apartment. Hot water heaters do kind of suck though. It runs out fast and takes forever for faucets to run hot water. Appliances are kind of old and need updating, but they work fine. Over all, it's not a terrible place to live. Great actually if you are single or a first time apartment dweller. There are alot of things to do around the complex. Volleyball, basketball, shuffleboard, pools. I haven't met any of the neighbors and I've been here for a while. So everyone pretty much stays to themselves.
