Do Not Move Here!
From: jimenezjenn@yahoo.comDate posted: 1/7/2008
Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
My husband and I got an apartment at Pecan Knoll and when preparing to move in, I was told I could not be on the lease due to my credit. After living there 5 months (with constant problems cars getting broken into and neighbors having large dogs that scared our children) our vent a hood in the kitchen broke off and fell on the stove while we were cooking. Our children could have been seriously hurt, and Management acted like it was not a big deal at all. We asked to get out of our lease early, we had enough. We arranged to leave a forwarding address and once the final cost of our lease was determined if would be mailed to us with payment options. We never received anything and assumed our apartment had been rented in time for us to get out of the lease with no cost. The very next month they but the apartment on both of our credit reports as defaulted, and my name is not even on the lease!!!
