Garland police said three bodies found inside an apartment Tuesday morning are the result of a double murder-suicide.
At about 9:45 a.m., apartment managers at Seven Oaks apartments responded to a welfare request from an employer who said a male employee had not shown up that day.
The manager went inside the apartment, saw the body and called police.
Officers arrived a short time later and found the bodies of two additional people and a dog.
Garland police said a preliminary investigation is under way and that it appears Robert Andrews, 46, shot and killed his wife, 46-year-old Tammy Andrews and his 17-year-old daughter, Sarah Andrews, before fatally shooting himself.
Police said Andrews also shot and killed the family's dog.
At the residence investigators found a pistol that they believe to be the murder weapon.
Police are waiting on an official ruling of suicide on Robert Andrews from the Dallas County medical examiner.
In the meantime, detectives are continuing to speak with neighbors, co-workers and others in an attempt to determine why the double murder-suicide took place.

this apartment complex has a lot of negative energy with it..two of my friends working at a big IT firm moved in here with their wives..both the couples went thru horrible times..one couple almost split up, the other experienced horrible personal tragedies..
Both the couples lived in the same building..Reasonable or not,they just blame this complex for its negative energy..
After they moved out , they are doing OK now..
no need to mention , no one in my office recommends this complex to this our new colleagues..
