I have lived at Stoneleigh since Oct 07 and have been quite satisfied with the property, my roommate and I are on our 2nd 6 month lease here and will probably sign another when the time comes (out rent didnt go up a penny when it was time for us to renew, $1005 for a spacious 2 bedroom). The property's management has recently switched to Lincoln which has a very nice reputation, and the property is also currently undergoing an exterior facelift (I never thought anything was wrong with the outside in the first place). The grounds are always well kept and attractive, as are the pools which my roommate and I visit frequently. All of the residents that I have come in contact with are very friendly and are pretty satisfied with the property as well. The staff (including the girls in the office) have always been very friendly and helpful anytime I had a request. Oh and I have never even come into contact with a single cricket much less 20 in my apt and I live at the VERY back of the property that backs up to the forest. Trust me, the scenery is worth a bug here or there. There are all kinds of resident activities to suit everyone, and the location is great! Of course all apartments are going to have issues here and there, such as the gates not functioning properly (however my father lives in a very upscale gated neighborhood and they too have gate issues occasionally), or having an issue with the staff, but you will very rarely find a perfect property.
