Well, I've been over for a year and a half and I thought it was OK, nothing to brag about, nothing really to complain about. A couple ignorant neighbors here and there but they usually weeded them out. Plus I'm a working professional and pay my rent on time since day one, so no issues from them.
So, Friday morning when my co-worker explained she needed a place to live I suggested my apartments. They took hours and she was hearing nothing about approval and told her corporate was closed on weekends so she would have to wait until Monday. So she went back to apartments and said just give her the deposit check back and they told her to come on down and get it. Instead of giving her check back, these sorry people cashed $200 check even though she hadn't been approved and told them she wasn't interested in the place as they were taking too long to process approval application. On paper it says they keep $50 of the 200$ but they cashed all of it.
I feel so bad as I recommended this place to her. I even put a good ad on here last year when I moved in. I am definitely moving out ASAP when my lease is over. In addition, management has changed and their staff turnover is ridiculous. People have moved out left and right and I see why.
DON'T MOVE HERE... If they will do one person that way, they will do many others. I won't stick around to be a part of it. February 2010 cannot come soon enough! I want out of here so bad that if I had extra money to pay a broken lease fee, I'd do it!

Sounds like your friend needs a little patience.. I put in my app for an apt on a friday and was approved on that following Monday.. She couldn't wait a few days?? I don't think it was right they cashed her check. I personally think she was a little impatient not to wait the weekend for an approval.. Hope your friend got her money back...

I recently signed a lease here and they didn't cash my deposit check until after I was approved and after I signed my lease. I was told that the approval process took at least 24 hours so it sounds to me like your friend didn't ask how long the process would take and if they were in a big a hurry, that would be a crucial question.

I think it is a horrible place to live and work,I use to work there and they treated me and the tenants bad.I understand what happen and how that must make you feel.
