We liked living in Windward for the two years we were there. The apartments are okay, the grounds quiet and the area safe. The office staff was great at first but then changed and became much less friendly and responsive.
The problem came when we moved out. We were charged for damages to the carpet and we did pay them in a timely manner. However, just the other day I got a letter from a collections company saying we never paid! This goes back to the office staff. I often found them to be unorganized and not familiar with any of their residents. Just be careful and get copies of EVERYTHING and receipts for EVERYTHING. bYr9ljUwtCbMRXE8dRDC

You are completely correct... It sounds like my experience with windward as well. The former manager was very nice... the new manager did not seem to be able to keep up with anything and his response time was very poor. I was accused of not paying the water bill one month... I brought in the payment anf he was with potential residents. He asked me to place it in the mailbox next to his office door. I went back up after I received the "notice for possible eviction" (pretty harsh for one water bill) to speak to him about this mistake. Lo and Behold he found it inside the box he asked me to put it in! (this was about 12 days later!!!!- along with other tenants payments as well!!)
