When looking for a bigger place for my family I fell in love with the 3bedroom 2bath townhome floor plan, it was perfect and it still is if it was all in proper working order. I should have known from day one when my family and I had to pretty much do out own make-ready cleaning I filled out the move-in inventory checklist like you always do at any new apartment. Nothing was fixed for months and my front patio light(it's pretty dark out at night/ safety issue) still isn't fixed, that was 6 months ago. I also brought to their attention that the a/c did not seem to be cooling properly it. It is constantly running and will not cool any less than about 75 degrees downstairs and you can just forget about the upstairs cooling, it alway feels a good 10-15 degrees warmer, i even dread walkin up those stairs. I have called, I have emailed, I have left messages, I have written letters for well over a month and I've gotten nothing. My children and I sleep on the living room floor/couches where it's a little cooler. My dishwasher has been broken for over a month....still waiting. The reason the dishwasher broke was because pest control moved it to cover up holes to fix the mice problem we had. yes, mice, many many mice. All i can say is...DO NOT! DO NOT! RENT AT GEORGETOWN PLACE APARTMENTS.

wow.... that's crazy. I live here too and am just now noticing how bad it is. I haven't had nearly as many problems, but I know for a fact, the first time I saw mice I would be on the phone blowing someone up. They should have moved you to a different apartment after something that bad. My AC sucks too.... it blows crazy hard in the small room and not at all in the master. It will be set on 74 and wont get below 80 in my room. But the other room... we call our walk in freezer. The office employees need to learn to be a little nicer and lot more helpfull. Specially since we are the ones paying their paychecks by living here. I would not recomend these apartments to anyone either!!
