I've lived at the Landings for almost 18 months now and can't wait to move out when my lease expires next month. This place used to be nice and quiet, however, they now lease to gang members and ex-felons so things are getting noisy at night. In order for you to live here, you must have a car-alarm that goes off every 20 minutes. Also, you must take great pleasure in setting your own car alarm off with what we call "Alarm Games which usually occurs somewhere between 10 pm and 1 am every evening.

The mail doesn't arrive until well after the banks close which is usually around 5:30 or 6 pm daily. Get a Po box. Management likes to stick flyers in your door every other day so get used to tons of pointless flyers about people entering your apartment to paint the ceiling or something else that's not needed. Then it never happens.

You must enjoy screaming kids. This is an absolute must since all the children here scream outside 15 of 24 hours a day. They play in the parking lot and scream in all the breezeways. There is never any parental supervision.. then again only about 50% of the complex doesn't work during the day. It's not a retirement home so it's most likely lazy folks collecting unemplyment or welfare.

You must own a dangerous breed of dog. If you don't have a pit bull or rottweiler, don't bother moving in. Also, please do not clean up after your dog as neighbors enjoy stepping in what your dog leaves behind.

Don't pay for a remote for the access gates. They are ALWAYS broke or stuck open so don't waste your money.

Oh yeah.. most important.. if you are white... don't move here unless you want to be a minority. The place is about 90% black but all the staff are white. Lol!

Bottomline.. this used to be a nice place to live but has gone seriously downhill in regards to the people they allow to occupy their complex. Time to go now.. someone is parked in my assigned parking spot.

Well.. I just moved out and have been gone for a little over a month now. One of the best decisions I have made in a long time.. leaving the Landing Pad. I left the apartment in great condition.. even hired a maid service to clean the place after I left. I received a $500 bill from these asshats which I immediately threw in the garbage. What a bunch of --------. They charged me to replace the carpeting! That cheap-ass ghetto carpeting was screwed due to normal wear and tear. SO BEWARE!!! They also added an extra $130 to my rent which I have absolutely no clue what that is. I didn't break the lease.. Hell.. I even paid thew damn thing 15 days past my move date so I wouldn't get hit with a relet fee. Stay away from these clows at all costs!!!
