Quite honestly I'm not surprised to see the difference in the comments and in the rating for the Landings; I guess some of the items mentioned were true at some point but I would venture to guess typical of this type of living. For me and my son, we are going into our 3rd year here, same apartment and I believe same staff without any problems...the few times that we had maintenance needs i.e. light fixtures going out in the kitchen, a few ants when we first moved in and one time the smoke detector going crazy were all fixed right away without any hassle. The reserved parking at first was a hassle as folks would not respect the signs and park there anyway; this was also fixed and since the obvious prescence of tow trucks; people seem to mind more often. The property grounds and apartments are kept well maintained...the common areas i.e. the hallways are at times messy but then again that is the lack of respect of some folks; not management. In fact, maintenance comes out regularly to pick up any trash laying around. The parking gates have broke a few times and at other times some folks have drove their cars into them; this too is always fixed righ away. During the last pool party I met a neighbor lady (87 years old) that has been living here on the first floor since this place opened; my former coworker of many years has been here for about 5 years; we are all happy and seem to be doing ok...The only reason I would move is to go to a 1st floor apartment so that my older family wouldn't have to climb 3 flights of stairs (which we don't mind). Noise level is at a minimum during the year; a little more pronounced in the summer but definitely not out of control. We love it here and have no complaints.
