We moved to Riverhill from a place that appeared nice on the outside.. but was a nightmare on the inside. We found Riverhill to be the best of both worlds.

Our original apartment was a one-bedroom on the 3rd floor, and was a very nice, well-appointed unit with very high vaulted ceilings. The bathroom was spacious and very nice, lots of storage in the closets and a very nice, long balcony. The apartment was well insulated, and we barely heard anyone outside or inside.

We liked Riverhill so much, that in April of 2005 we decided to upgrade our choice to a two-bedroom, two-bathroom floorplan. The apartment was enourmous, and more than we even could have imagined!

We have never had any problems with any of our appliances or fixtures. We haven't seen a single bug or ant on the premises, which can be an issue with ground floor apartments. The apartment is well shielded from the outside sound, and the noise levels are very quiet and minimal. We've heard some shuffling upstairs, but that's been on the balcony and in the kitchen area, which is to be expected with the tile. The kitchen is FANTASTIC.. nice and big with TONS of space to store everything you possibly need. The appliances are all well maintained and very up to date.

The bedrooms and bathrooms have very nice appointments, and the tubs are very wide garden tubs that feel extremely comfortable. Big mirrors.. big fixtures.. everything about the inside just says BIG and spacious.. it's really very nice.

Maintenance is very prompt and courteous. They are also very giving of their time and even lent us a few tools when we needed them. They come over and check out anything we ask. The best example of this is that when we first moved in, we noticed that there was some shifting of the floor tiles in the bathroom and kitchen. Riverhill's response' To retile and replace the whole floors so we have brand new, beautiful floors that match the apartment perfectly!!

Parking can be a little tricky every now and again, but it's mainly if you come in late and there are people with many guests.. mostly during the weekends. The apartments in the back of the community have a little harder parking situation, but most times you can find a spot that requires only a few more feet of walking.

The absolute best thing about Riverhill is the office management and staff. They are always there to help you and answer all of your questions. They will consistently solve your problems, whatever they may be. They hold events and contests on a regular basis to make you feel less like "just an apartment" and more like a community of indiviudals.

The apartment manager is the absolute best I have ever seen. Lizanne is someone who is always looking out for your best interests and make things the easiest on you. We were about to transfer out to Colorado with a job opportunity this month. However, the job did not pan out correctly, and the apartment complex out there was making things hard.. so we had to stay in Texas. Lizanne jumped right up, and even though we had given our notice to vacate, found us a very similar ground floor unit with an attached garage in our SAME BUILDING so the transition would be easier on us.

24 hours later, we had a new place to live, and everything under control. This would have been a prime opportunity for any other apartment complex to gouge us in fees and transfer costs.. to require more application, process, deposit and transfer fees for such short notice. Instead, she only wanted the corporate transfer fee to move apartments, and waived all of the other fees into our move-in costs. She rolled our deposits and other fees from our current lease over, and in the end it cost us less than $300.

She even went to the Regional Manager in the area and petitioned to have our initial deposit from our credit score waived. That saved us an additional $300 on top of everything else!

In the end, we had a new place to live.. only minimal fees to pay.. and a new apartment with new carpeting, a freshly cleaned, attached garage, and a great view! All of our worries were completely washed away!

Riverhill is the absolute best place we have lived in a very long time! Their complete commitment to resident satisfaction sets them far and away from the competition, and they are simply the best when it comes to putting your needs first. They realize you're there to live.. and there to stay.. and they want to keep it that way every time you walk in the office.

From this point on, until we buy a home with Riverhill's "Rent to Own" program.. we'll be living here! That's just how great it is.. they keep you very satisfied when you live here.. and then give you a huge payment towards moving into your own home one day.

Riverhill has set the new standard in apartment living.
