I have been a resident of Riverhill for about two years now, and I have no idea what these people are talking about on this site.

Ants'' Where'' I have lived in three different apartments in this complex and have not seen one ant, water bug, beetle.. not even a gnat in my apartment. Then again, that could be because I am not the type to leave food laying about on my counter.

The manager of this apartment complex is a fantastic lady. She is extremely understanding and works with you all she can to help you along. If you find something unsatisfactory, all you have to do is go out of your apartment.. walk/drive to the office.. and she'll help you repair the situation. They are extremely busy at the office, so they need to have some calls roll over to voicemail. But.. here's the ultimate solution.. face-to-face contact! They can't let that go to voicemail, right'

The assistant manager doesn't seem very well liked on this site.. mostly because she is the one that balances the books. But.. here's a brilliant idea for all of you out there writing bad reviews about the small balances you owe.. how about you actually pay the total bill due each month'' Yes.. look at your lease, surmise your water bill, and then write the check for the TOTAL amount. That way you'll NEVER get a little notice from the office for a small amount.

Here's an even more superb idea.. go to the office on the 1st of each month.. and ask the apartment manager, "How much do I owe with water this month'" She'll go to her computer.. give you a figure.. and then you can take out your checkbook and give her a check for that exact amount. WOW.. NO MORE NOTICES! Holy crap, that was easy!!

I got one notice in two years of living here. It was because I owed them for my water from my previous apartment and it showed a balance on the computer. I walked into the office the next morning, inquired about the charge, and they cleared it all up and explained every last detail to me. The assistant manager had everything in order, and showed me exactly what the water, sewer, and trash charges were to equal my bill. Then they gave me 15 DAYS extra to take care of the charge, because they knew I was a little short that week since I had just moved.

So, it really comes down to how much good sense you have. If you have enough good sense to pay your WHOLE bill on time, clean up your apartment regularly, and know how to read what you are signing when you sign the lease.. then you will have absolutely no problems at Riverhill. When you go in and intelligently communicate to the staff about your concerns, they will fix them completely, and to your overall satisfaction. You just need to have enough good sense to come across to them like a professional.. and not come in insulting them and being beligerent. They will go above and beyond for you.. you just have to be smart enough to treat them like a professional business, and not some punk kid.

At Riverhill, you get what you pay for.. you just have to be smart enough to use it.

However, if you are someone that can't pay their full rent.. cannot tell the difference between an August end date and a December end date on your lease.. or leave food lying about everywhere.. then I suggest you go find a differnt apartment complex in which to live.

I know Arbook Park Apartments off of I-20 has LOTS of space for people like you.
