First of all before I moved in I was quoted a different price for rent, so I went ahead and paid all that I needed to, to secure the apartment. When I came in to sign all of the leaseing contracts they finally informed me that without ever having lived in the place that my rent was going to be raised because of demand. Oh great bait and switch technique they used then. After the fact, they told me that my money was not going to be refundable. Great so now I'm screwed if I do or screwed if I don't live here. Then the leasesing agent went ahead and told me that if I didn't want the apartment that there were plenty of other people who wanted it. So I reluctantly signed the contracts hoping for the best to come in the future because I was going to lose the money I unkowingly had invested into something that I wasn't going to get back. When I finally moved in and I went through the first inspection I noticed that there were some things wrong with the apartment and had put in a work order that was never fixed after several times of calling the manager to fix the problem. Is'nt that one of the reasons why people live in apartments or townhomes, so that they don't have to mow the lawn, do the landscaping, make necassary repairs to the properity. So after my efforts and never once getting a phone call or a note or a letter informing me that there was a problem with staffing or what have you, I finally fixed everything myself. This is supposed to be short, and I'm sorry but then I won't be able to let anyone else know about how awesome it is to live at the great towns of riverside. I woke up one morning with about 100-150 ant bites all over my body. Certainly not from being dirty but from and I quote "The ants need a warmer climate to live." thats great but I DON'T WANT THEM IN MY HOME! I'm not tring to raise an ant farm. Then there's the problem with my car getting broke into five times since I've been here. Now to be fair I did'nt have an alarm but some good those security gates are when the don't even close huh! The week and a half that the gates would'nt close my car got broken into three times.(Fri. night, Sun. morning, Tues. night). I purchased the alarm Sat. night and the earliest I could get it installed was Wed. afternoon. So twice my car got broken into before I could get it installed. Oh yeah, their security officer is a big joke also. Please think twice before moving here. If I knew then what I know now I would have moved across the street to one of the three really nice properities. So I'm stuck here untill the end of my lease and can't wait to leave. PLEASE THINK TWICE!!!!!!!!!!
