Major liability exposure

I am a current resident of the Phase #1 portion of the complex and must admit there have been several symptoms/ concerns that I have personally excperienced, however yesterday was the deal breaker for me.
At approximately 3:30 in the afternoon as I was working in my kitchen area, I heard someone attempting to unlock my door. I had the deadbold on as a safety precaution. I looked through the peep hole and saw an individual attempting to unlock my door. I unlocked the door and greeted the couple with a request as to what I might do to help them. They were as surprised as I was and I could tell this by their facial expressions.
They had two sets of keys and were attempting to gain entry ( unescourted by staff ) to view as a potential occupant.
I advised them to head back to the office as they had been misinformed on availability
of my unit.
I contacted the office to learn they had
come to the wrong phase of the complex.
This is a significant breach of security and safety of the residents and not to mention the liability exposure which could have had a significantly different outcome in this day and age with which we live in.
The couple were given the keys as the rental agent did not want to venture out on the scooter due to the weather conditions.
I have been a long time client of Lincoln
Properties and lived in four of their complexes over the past 18 years and this to me was a deal breaker for any future business
relationship !
Heads up...............
