I lived here from February 2006 thru August 2006, and it was the worst experience of my life. I'm 18 and this was my first place, and I wish I had looked other places first. First of all, the staff is pathetic, Jackie and the other lady are so nice when you move in, but the second they get a complaint from you they are the rudest people I have ever met. I was once gone for 4 days straight, and came home to noise complaints posted on my door....I wasn't even there! Also, the grounds are totally unsafe for women and children. My girlfriend was raped as she walked across the street to one of our friends' apartments, and I once had some old black man offer me Ecstasy while I was checking my mail....at 10 in the morning! The pool is disgusting, as there are always little kids in it. And the so-called maintenence man was like 80 years old and couldn't fix something to save his life, in fact all he ever did was mumble and walk off if I actually needed something. And to top it off, while I was in San Diego for a month visiting my dad, I sent a money order for the amount of the rent to the office, and they had the audacity to accuse me of never sending it, even though I had the reciepts! My roommate and I finally gave up and moved out, and neither of us ever even recieved an eviction notice or a phone call or anything. This has been the worst experience of my life and I hope the staff reads this. Anyone who is seriously considering these apartments needs to think twice before even looking at them, and if you do decide to seal your fate, ask the office about the residents in Apt. 101, just to get their reactions, as that was my apartment.

If any of you become victims of "rent concessions" please contact me at screwedbymansions@sbcglobal.net. These fees are illegal. If you know of anyone that has been charged rent concessions, please give them this e-mail address. Breach of contract(breaking a lease) people are welcome to respond!
