Don't move in to PREVENT from ever having to move OUT!

This property is ridiculous in every way!

Everything the office has to go by to try to save their butts from being wrong is saying that is the Western Rim policy! Well, I'm sorry, but if they are not going to follow that policy exactly... then Western Rim needs to be reported to Better Business Bureau for incomplete guildlines! (Which I will be reporting!)

I'm just WARNING everyone, that your "refundable" deposit... will not be refundable at all! I have lived in many apartments, and I ALWAYS gotten my full deposit back due to how good and clean I left the apartment after I moved out! After moving out of these horrible apartments in the first place...and leaving it in better looking and in better condition than when I moved in...(even the manager herself told me it looked great after move out) but that they STILL have to charge me for carpet cleaning when the carpets were already CLEANED professionally when I moved out! Per the inventory deposit check list that tells you what you could get charged for... it says the following items (such as carpet cleaning) is SUBJECT...NOT mandatory to be charged for if damaged or dirty.... Yet, I have the manager telling me that it is mandatory for them to charge us for it whether it is already cleaned or not b/c they have to have it done again b/c they are required to by law.... Okay, so if I did my part of keeping them clean and cleaning it again the day I move out, and they are made to do it again by law... how are they allowed to charge me for what they are required to clean by law'''' The law should make them be responsible for it if the resident did their part and held up their end of the lease!

It's just stupid how everything this whole year with this lease has never been right with them in the office and now we have to deal with this stuff that is unfair because they really are NOT following the policy when they say they are!

FYI... Besides the move out that is so true when people say this apartment will charge you for every little thing no matter how perfect of condition you left it (and even the manager compliments the way you left it upon move out!)...

You will live with bugs coming from every inch of your apartment no matter how clean of a person you may be... (your neighbors will not be and it will still attract bugs to your apartment) and these bugs are mostly roaches and LOTS of them! Their grass is full of stickers so I hope you don't have a dog or children to play in it b/c they will track them in the house and get stuck to everything... and the have this very red dirt that every time it rains it gets everywhere! It is so hard to prevent from tracking it in to your house, car, or even splash onto your own clothes that will stain! There are cops here EVERY day and night b/c of how bad the crime is and I guess you can say at least the cops are around... but it's ridiculous for them to even have to be...but it's really that bad!

I could go on and on with complaints about these apartments, but I would run out of room to write! Just believe me and don't put yourself in the position of going through trouble with these apartments! It's SOOO not worth it!

If any of you become victims of "rent concessions" please contact me at screwedbymansions@sbcglobal.net. These fees are illegal. If you know of anyone that has been charged rent concessions, please give them this e-mail address. Breach of contract(breaking a lease) people are welcome to respond!
