Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008

I was looking online at apartments because my little sister is looking to get a place in arlington and I decided to look up The Lakes of Williamsberg since I have lived here for the past couple of years. There are comments posted on here from people that lived here in 2003 and 2004. Bitter much' If you pay your rent ontime and actually pay your water bill you don't have to worry about them holding your stuff over $45.
I got divorced 3 years ago and had to find a place for me and my 2 kids and I was not making much money at the time so I was looking at alot of dumps. Then I heard about the Lakes of Williamsberg and when I checked it out I was so excited that I finally found high quaility affordable living. I have been completely pleased with my apartment here. It has everything i was looking for; washer and dryer connections, dishwasher, walk-in and coat closets. There is plenty of storage and my kids each get their own room and it is a place that I can definately afford even being a single mom with one income. There is a playground onsite which is so nice because I can go outside with my kids and they have a good time and I don't have to drive anywhere, and you know thats a blessing with gas prices as high as they are. The swimming pool also has a separate shallow pool that is safe for the kids to play in. My kids love living here.
I didn't have any complaints with the condition of my apartment the whole time Ive lived here but this year when they came in and rennovated the apartment and gave me brand new carpet and brand new appliance I was extatic. I have never had a brand new stove, refridgerator and dishwasher. Not even when I lived with my ex. I couldn't ask for more from the Lakes of Willamsberg. The girls in the office are so nice. There is one girl that loves kids and anytime I need to go talk to the manager she takes my kids into the clubhouse and reads books to them. She is great with them. I have not had to make many maintenence requests because I am a pretty good housekeeper and have not had any major problems but when I do come in they always get addressed with in a day or two. If you are a good resident and pay your rent and water on time Jackie is very nice. She has always been very pleasent when I come in. I don't know who Stacy is but she is no longer the manager here so all of those old residents must not know how things are at The Lakes of Williamsberg now because things are great! I have had a wonderful experiece here so far.

LOL what ever! Who cares if you got upgraded! WOW!
No one said the apartments were UGLY!
And as far as paying a 45 dollar water bill on time- one of these days you to may come on hard times. Dont judge other peoples situations.
She had no right to charge me for a make ready- in case you dont know ....she- who ever is in charge when a person moves out, they MUST do certain things to an apartment..carpet and paint is a must....its wear and tear...and that is not suppose to be billed to anyone when they move out. So stop talking about people who dont pay there rent.
This has nothing to do with rent.A water bill yes, but I didnt have 45 dollars to my name when I left. And that is not proper protocal to put someones things on a curb ...if i owed thousands of dollars in un paid rent then I could maybe understand. In this situaion the actions where uncalled for .....and just to let you know my rent was paid everymonth on time- NEVER EVER LATE!
the point to this is to let others know what we think- you dont have to like it? And so what if its from 2003-2004- we still lived there and we still have the right to voice our opinion.
Stacy is not at the lakes but she is at the corp office now.
If you dont like what we have to say, they call her and let her know.
Any by the way, there are MANY people who this has happended to. Its not just one time thing.

you should like what the past residents paid for i would have love to have new items inmy apartment!!!! once again its not about late rent its about all the move out fees i can understand $600. thats much but $1500.00 come on and after you live in a place for 3 years we are talking about paint, carpet, water bill fox 4 news should be told about the lakes don't move in this place or you will be charged an arm and a leg!!!! If you don't know who MRS. STACY just ask some of the old Residents o don't forget about old Juddy they are one in the same!!!!!!!
The best thing about the lakes was old Man Raymond, SALVADOR, and his Right hand MAN KEN Thanks Men!!!! The best on time men you could ask for!!!!!! so if you don't know what your talking about you should investigate your information!!!!!!!
