Moving Soon

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
I have lived in this apartment for over a year, and was shocked when the new lease came through! The increase was the largest $$$ I have ever had in 30 yrs of renting. The renewal notice is worded tricky, so be careful when you read ALL your paperwork. I love my apt but it is now very over priced. I have constant plumbing problems. Repairs are made quickly and kindly, but they are cheap repairs that make the apt look run down. For example my kitchen water knobs were replaced with bathroom knobs! It is so obvious, and they don't care! Don't move here, the first blush will wear off and you will have to start packing! There are equal choices too close by to get involved with this complex.
p.s. ...they are starting to have issues with the high school next door. The students are breaking through the fence and it takes weeks to fix. The sch just built a baseball field next door. Wired for sound and runs loudly into the apartment well after 10 p.m.
p.s.s they do not enforce the pet restrictions, my neighbor has a rottie that runs loose, no leash. I have reported it twice.
The apt is a great location, but I am moving across the freeway to a better apt, at a lower price!
