A roommate and I lived her for a year. We left with a 0$ balance, and then 6 months later.. BAM! a credit agency calls us!!! Totally shocked and appalled we call Montelena only to find out it was an error, a balance of $0 was shown on their computers, but $105 balance was shown on the creditors computer.... oops! These people are irresponsible, uneducated, and difficult to deal with. This could have ruined our credit if not caught in time. In the end, Montelena contacted the appropriate people to reverse the allegation, though the trouble it took was unneccessary. Also, plumbing is horrendous and ants everywhere. Both problems..NEVER solved. Do NOT rent from here! Oh, and there was a BUM in the dumpster for at least two weeks until we threatened to call authorities... Don't let it fool you. It is pretty on the outside and extremely poorly built on the inside.
